Carbomill building new production location

Seon/Dintikon/Paris - Carbomill AG has grown to a point where the company now requires more space. For this reason, a new location for the machining of aluminum, titanium, steel and composite components is under construction in Dintikon. The company will also be presenting its particular area of expertise at the International Paris Air Show.

(CONNECTCarbomill AG from Seon in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland, will be machining its aluminum, titanium, steel and composite components at a new site from the spring of 2027. “After all, in line with our motto ‘from track to the sky and beyond’, our aim is to supply our customers even faster and with more comprehensive services in the future”, as CEO Patrick Meyer explains.

For this reason, the family business has opted to build a new production facility with an office building on a greenfield site in Dintikon, also in the Swiss canton of Aargau. The new complex will include a multi-story hall measuring 55 meters long and 35 meters wide for additional 5-axis machining centers and assembly areas, as well as an extension with spacious offices and recreation areas for employees. In addition, a photovoltaic system located on the roof will produce self-generated electricity.

Carbomill sees itself as a specialist for machining fiber composite materials. Lightweight structural components made of carbon fiber are vital to aerospace and motor racing applications, as well as being key to research and medical devices. Founded in 2011, the family-run company is also active in the area of tool and mold making. Its structural components are also used for medical technology applications, as well as for equipment, plant, and mechanical engineering.

Carbomill is exhibiting at the 55th International Paris Air Show as part of the SWISS Pavilion. The trade fair is taking place June 16-22, 2025, at Paris Airport-Le Bourget on the northern edge of the French capital. ce/mm
