Green expanding to Germany

Lupfig - The ICT service provider is expanding its activities to Germany and has opened a competence center in Frankfurt am Main. Here, the company intends to establish a high-performance data center in order to meet increasing digitalization requirements.

(CONNECTGreen intends to offer its data center solutions in Germany too in the future. The supplier of data centers and associated services based in Lupfig in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland, has to this end founded the Green Datacenter Germany GmbH with its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. The background to this is, according to a press release, advancing digitalization and the rising demand for energy-efficient and future-proof data centers that this entails.

Green develops digital solutions on behalf of private and business customers for data center, connectivity, cloud, internet, TV and hosting applications, in addition to operating data centers. The new competence center will work closely with colleagues based in Switzerland, the company writes. Heiko Siats has been in the role of Managing Director since August 1. The building services engineer is regarded as an expert in the German market and has been involved in the development and operation of critical infrastructures in the areas of aviation security, pharmaceuticals, industry and data centers, for example, for the past 20 years. ce/heg
