Montana Aerospace in the black for the first time since going public
(CONNECT) Montana Aerospace AG closed the 2024 financial year with a positive net result for the first time since its IPO in 2021. It achieved a net profit of 35.8 million euros, according to a statement from the Reinach-based producer of components for the aerospace industry. “Our success in 2024 underlines the strength and stability of Montana Aerospace,” Co-CEO Kai Arndt is quoted as saying.
Both divisions of Montana Aerospace contributed to this positive development. In the Aerostructures segment, turnover increased by 16 per cent year-on-year to 815.6 million euros. At 642.6 million euros, turnover in the Energy segment was 13 per cent higher than in the previous year.
Now, Montana Areospace intends to place increased focus on the aerospace business. Consequently, it sold the Alu Menziken e-mobility segment to the Mengtai-Group in the 2024 financial year. “With the growth rates that are forecast, the aerospace industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors,” explains Arndt. “Thanks to our state-of-the-art production facilities and our strong operational structure, we are very well positioned to benefit from the expected upturn in civil aviation.”
According to the statement, Montana Aerospace has already become a strategic partner for the largest original equipment manufacturers and their direct subcontractors in the aerospace industry. ce/hs
