BSI Software acquires Heidelberg-based firm Sikom
(CONNECT) BSI Business Systems Integration AG (BSI Software) is optimizing customer communications in its modular BSI Customer Suite by integrating the contact center solutions developed by Sikom. To this end, BSI Software, which is headquartered in Baden in the Swiss canton of Aargau, has acquired the omnichannel communications and smart interaction management specialist based in the German city of Heidelberg, as detailed in a statement.
For 25 years, Sikom has been supporting corporate clients that are primarily active in regulated industries such as insurance and healthcare in their efforts to manage and automate complex customer interactions in demanding service environments. These “Made in Germany” software solutions, which offer total data sovereignty, will now complement the BSI software platform.
“Contact centers are now a central component of modern customer experience”, comments Markus Brunold, CEO of BSI Software. “With Sikom, we are gaining a technologically leading provider whose solutions perfectly complement our platform, especially in our focus industries”.
With more than 600 employees, Sikom generates double-digit revenue growth. It will continue to operate as an independent company and brand. Its contact center solutions will continue to be developed on an independent basis and will remain open for integration into various IT and CRM environments.
“With BSI Software, we have gained a strong European partner with whom we can integrate our technologies into a broader customer experience context and can further develop them in a targeted way”, as Natascha Hoffmeister, Managing Director at Sikom, explains. “At the same time, this partnership accelerates our growth and allows us to scale our solutions in a larger market environment”, she concludes. ce/mm
