(CONNECT) This year TPS Solutions will be launching new technologies on the market. A new vacuum plasma system (VPS) that will ensure the technology is more accessible to MRO providers and faster return on investment, and the new DC-200 cascaded torch technology to meet the demands for higher coating rates with high integrity.
This confirms what the company, which was founded in 2017 and hails from Döttingen in the Swiss canton of Aargau had predicted shortly after the start of the year: 2026 would replicate the successes seen in the previous year. According to information from TPS Solutions, it sold more thermal spray systems in 2025 than ever before. At the beginning of 2026, Sales Director Jamie Holt stated that several turnkey thermal spray projects for the MRO sector, primarily in Asia and the USA, had already been acquired and successfully implemented. Holt explains that the company recently moved to expand its sales and engineering teams because “we want to raise our profile in Europe and North America and expand our support for the industry globally”.
The coating applications designed and built by TPS Solutions to meet individual company requirements are based on atmospheric plasma spraying (APS), high-velocity oxyfuel spraying (HVOF) and vacuum plasma spraying (VPS). Controlled atmosphere plasma spraying (CAPS) and low-pressure plasma spraying (LPPS) systems are all also part of the company’s Swiss-made portfolio. All of the systems incorporate cutting-edge industrial automation and continuous process monitoring, while TPS Solutions also offers coating validation and laboratory services.
TPS Solutions is one of the exhibitors forming part of the SWISS Pavilion at the Farnborough International Airshow. Organized every other year, the trade fair for the global aerospace industry is set to take place July 20-24, 2026. ce/mm
